No matter whether you want to see me face-to-face or receive personalised recordings from me, I want you to feel confident about how hypnotherapy works and what to expect.
My approach to hypnotherapy is calm, grounded, and purpose-driven. I create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can feel completely safe and at ease. I use a blend of visualisation, positive suggestion and gentle metaphors to help shift habits, release emotions, and create lasting change without pressure, force or overwhelm.
What to Expect in Your First Session
When understanding how hypnotherapy works we begin with the first session which is relaxed and informal. We’ll begin with a 15-minute conversation about what’s going on for you and what you’d like help with. I shall explain exactly what I’ll be doing in the session and why, so there are no surprises. From there, you’ll settle back and relax while I guide you through your personalised hypnotherapy.
If you're someone who finds visualisation tricky, don’t worry, I’ll check in and recap at the end to make sure everything lands gently.
Face-to-Face Hypnotherapy in Solihull and London
In-person sessions are held in a peaceful, private space in Solihull designed to help you feel calm and comfortable from the moment you arrive. Soft lighting, gentle background music, and the scent of subtle candles help to create a tranquil, focused environment.
Adults usually have hour-long sessions. For children, I let them guide the pace but most sessions last between 40 to 50 minutes.
I use headphones during the hypnosis so you can clearly hear my voice and stay fully immersed in the experience. At the end of the session, you'll leave feeling more grounded, calm and clear.
Afterwards, I’ll often send you a short audio recording (about 20 minutes long) to help you continue the work we’ve done, along with a printed guide to self-hypnosis techniques you can use between sessions.

The fantastic way in how hypnotherapy works is that we don’t have to see each other face-to-face. Personalised hypnotherapy recordings offer you the full benefits of hypnotherapy from the comfort of your own home, ideal for busy adults and children.
The process is simple:

We start with a free 15-minute phone call to chat through what you’d like support with.

You’ll complete a short questionnaire (for children, they can help fill this in).

I’ll plan and record your session (usually 40–45 minutes long).

Your recording will be sent via WhatsApp within two working days.
I’ll check in with you after you’ve had time to listen and explain next steps if needed.
The personalised recordings are exactly what I’d say in a face-to-face session. Whether you’re dealing with sleep issues, low confidence, phobias, menopause symptoms or anxiety, these recordings can be listened to again and again. Many clients even use them as part of their bedtime routine or daily wind-down.
Most people benefit from 3 to 4 recordings over time, especially when working through long-term habits or emotional patterns.
How Hypnotherapy Works and Why It’s So Effective
Hypnotherapy isn’t about being "easily hypnotised" or giving up control. It’s a deeply relaxing process that uses focused attention to help you access the subconscious part of your mind where habits and emotional responses are stored.
It’s very similar to that daydream-like state you drift into when watching a film or driving on autopilot. You remain in control, aware, and safe throughout.
You don’t have to be convinced it’ll work! You just need to be open to the idea of change. Even clients who arrive feeling sceptical often describe the experience as unexpectedly calming, insightful, and transformative.
I recommend allowing at least 3 or 4 sessions to start feeling real change.
I offer ongoing support
I genuinely care about your progress. Whether we work together face-to-face or via recording, I check in with you regularly to see how you’re getting on and what support you might need next. Many clients continue to use hypnotherapy tools long after we finish working together and often return for top-ups every few months.
